Personally, I enjoy the cooler temperatures of Fall and Winter but with them comes drier air, indoor heating, and temperature fluctuations; all of which wreak havoc on our skin. Pay attention to how your skin reacts to the changing weather and adjust your skincare routine accordingly.
TIME TO TRANSITION OUR SKINCARE ROUTINE
Every step of our routine (4-6 steps MAX) is important, but for me, using a serum, moisturizer, and eye cream is imperative.
Our Eyes
The skin around our eyes is the most delicate so it’s essential that we treat it properly. Incorporate a high-quality topical eye treatment into your daily skincare regime.
Our Face
Serum is a must!
Look for an essential oil with squalane (derived from the olive plant) or use a Skin Transforming Serum.
Moisturize! Moisturize! Moisturize! And not just your face, but for now we’ll concentrate on our face. A product that combines sun protection (at least SPF 30) and moisturizes is needed.
At night, I use a Peptide Cream that contains squaplane, ceramides, glycerin, and Hyaluronic Acid.
For more sensitive skin, go for ‘Shea Butter’ and other butters that can be soothing without being too greasy.
Personally, I combine my facial oils with my moisturizer for these beautifully colder months.
For all-over body protection use ‘Shea Butter' or other Body Butters…my personal favorite
My overall Fall/Winter Routine in a nutshell
